The De Pere Sportsmen's Club offers a variety of leagues to meet the needs of most shooters. From youth to adult, and archery, pistol, shotgun, and rifle. You will likely find a league to help you hone your skills.
The hills behind the Clubhouse are home to one of the finest archery courses found in the state. The 30-station course is open to both members and non-members.
The 4-H Shooting Sports Program is an excellent opportunity to engage youth in shooting opportunities using air rifles to learn the fundamentals of safe gun handling and shooting skills.
The Action Pistol League held at the Club grounds occurs every other Tuesday night, and you're welcome to stop out to see what we are up to. This outdoor activity evaluates a competitor's accuracy and speed while completing a timed course of fire. The league mostly follows IDPA rules and format.
Action Rifle is set up for everyone to compete using any kind of .22 rifle. There is a class for everyone. We shoot every other Tuesday night opposite of Action Pistol league. Only .22 rifles can be used to compete. All range rules apply and are strictly enforced.
The Junior Rifle program of De Pere Sportsmen's Club has a long and proud history, and a wall full of trophies to demonstrate the many years of successful competition. The program is open to all youth aged 11-20 years who have an interest in the shooting sports. Young shooters are instructed in firearms safety and marksmanship along with the correct fundamentals for competitive shooting.
Competitions around the state and nation are available for the Juniors to compete in. Dedicated instructors work with the Juniors throughout their involvement, providing an excellent opportunity to engage youth with interests in shooting sports in a safe and controlled environment, preparing them for adult club membership benefits and responsibilities.
An indoor pistol league meets every Tuesday from September through May. Open shooting is available on Tuesday nights as space permits, and there is always someone available to help you get started in this fun and exciting sport.
The De Pere Sportsmen's Club offers year-round opportunities to get a chance to learn trap shooting and has summer, fall, and winter leagues on Monday and Thursday nights to offer you the chance to improve your skills.
Open shooting is available from 6:30PM to 9:00PM on regular trap nights, and there is always an experienced shooter or two available to help you get started. Fees for shooting are reasonable, and shells are available for purchase.
